I’m surprised that this never occurred to me earlier but I think Twitter is getting out of hands. It’s ok when a human start telling the whole world what they’re doing, it’s even cute (in a way) when babies and animals have gadgets that can tweet on their behalf, now, there’s even a Wi-Fi enabled kettle that can send out a tweet when it’s ready! Although the Twettle kettle is rather stylish, I’m sure it’s not that difficult to check on it manually rather than checking for its tweets. And as though it is not ridiculous enough, the Twettle will cost around $115 (RM380) when it really becomes available. I think I still prefer a normal electric kettle that I don’t have to start following on Twitter. I wonder if they will make these with a LCD screen on the front so you can maybe surf the Internet while waiting for the water to boil.
